Art Spotlight – Humility

This latest piece in my Solitude & Contemplative series is titled Humility.

I chose her name because humility feels foundational to this entire body of work. To seek and embrace humility is to create the space needed for solitude and contemplation. It invites a posture of self-emptying, self-acceptance, and turning our gaze toward God rather than the demands of ego.

In this spirit, Humility reflects how spiritual growth often begins with surrender ~ recognising our limitations, releasing control, and stepping gently beyond self-focused thoughts. In that letting go, we discover a receptive stillness that makes room for presence, prayer, and peace.

My hope is that as you sit with her, you, too, will sense humility being quietly found and expressed through the contemplative journey.
