I Never Thought I Would See the Light Again, But I Have...

Opening of a new studio journal page comes with a deep breath of vulnerability today, as the title suggests.

And so I begin:

Rediscovering the Light

I never thought I would see the light again, but I have. Now, my art, my words, and my breath are here for those who are still searching for that same light. These words are very deep, but they are also ones that have been floating throughout many of my journals and now they are coming through in my visual art and written word for you in truth for what lays perhaps in you too.

Sharing the Journey

And thus, with my steps now walking with a lamp I want my creations to inspire and create drive and motivation in you on your own paths towards the light of life that awaits. No one says it is easy, but when we take this journey together it becomes as we need it to be.

The Power of Expression

And so with a power of expression illuminated in my soul, it is here that i begin sharing and guiding you to a light that finds you.

• Art: A visual representation of my journey, capturing emotions and experiences.

Whether it be a landscape with a long road taking the path or a simple portrait of a woman sitting pondering or contemplating - I want you to find yourself in my visual allowing emotions to take you forward and onward.

• Words: Poetry and prose that convey the struggles and triumphs of seeking light.

Through the written word, in my daily letters on substack, my open journal here or my verses which you will soon see on my artwork prints, I will always open up truth of how that flickering light can and will splinter the darkness in your very own life.

• Breath: The essence of life, a reminder to embrace each moment and find beauty in the present.

Through the very essence of the breath that comes from me and the breath that comes from you, we can change how we speak - not polished,but steadily real.

Using our breath, we can allow creativity to invite such a beautiful stream of light to enter our lives. Stay tuned for more about how I will be bringing this way of being to the studio.

To anyone still seeking that glimmer of hope, know that you are not alone. My work is a testament to resilience and the possibility of finding light even in the darkest times.
