A Sunday Blessing Through Reflection

This afternoon, I have found myself reflecting on the spiritual truth I heard in today’s Gospel at Mass,
that God desires each of us to become a saint.
I rejoice in knowing that I am among the many who still carry small attachments to sin ~ not because I wish to cling to them, but because their presence reminds me of something holy:
God is not done with me yet.
Sanctity is already blooming within me , slowly, quietly and faithfully.
Here in my prayer and contemplative space, St. Rita keeps watch.

Her story, full of heartbreak, perseverance, and miraculous grace and that whispers a gentle reassurance to me and for me:
Holiness is not perfection.
It is God’s ongoing work in us.
It is the humble “yes” we offer day after day.
May her tender gaze remind us that we are being shaped by a love that refuses to give up on us.
Gratitude Prompt: with St. Rita’s Guidance
Take a moment and name one place in your life
where grace is still unfolding.
Then turn that awareness into a prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for loving me too much to leave me unchanged.
Thank You for the holiness You are still bringing forth in me.
Let gratitude soften the heart
and transform every struggle into hope.
Prayer for All Of Us That Are Growing Saints
St. Rita of Cascia, saint of the impossible and companion of the weary, pray for us as we surrender our unfinished places to the tender hands of Christ.
Help us trust the slow work of grace.
May we rejoice that God continues to form us in His likeness and make us a blessing to others along the way.
Amen and blessings dear friends,
